After a long time of not posting anything, I am proud to announce that our ScrapMetalRacer project has finally come to an end.
We are currently testing the release and if you want to help us testing, feel free to download and install the first version of the racer. There are still some limitations that we are about to fix in the meantime, e.g. the screen resolution cannot be changed from 1024×768.

Updated the ScrapMetalRacer Setup File with a new version. Still the XNA Studio is required, we are working on a Peer-to-Peer network connection. Please be patient and enjoy the game in the meantime.
The game uses the network component of the XNA framework. This component is not included in the redistributable framework. Therefore in order to run the game you will need to install the XNA Game Studio V3.1. You will find it at: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=80782277-d584-42d2-8024-893fcd9d3e82&displaylang=en
We will publish another version of the game without the network component in order to have only a single player version of the game which runs on all Windows systems with the redistributable framework.
Please be patient.
Here you go.
Screenshots linked. Thanks for the info.
Could you post a screenshot for those currently at work?
The game seems not to run on a Windows 64bit installation. I wasn’t able to start the game.
