Test report: Pulse Smartpen on Mac

After a while of testing the Pulse Smartpen I think it is time to write a smart report. Let’s start with a picture and the technical specification:

  4. 2GB NAND (over 200h recording time) (depends on audio quality)

  7. Headset microphone: 3-D recording, binaural or stereo recording

When I first started with TeX I used the TextMate with TeXShop and it was a real good thing. Now as I am looking forward to make more use of LaTeX and BibTex I wanted to have an editor that supports auto-completion. As a eclipse user for creating Java Applications, WebApps and Plugins for eclipse I was electricized after I read about TeXlipse, so I had to give it a try.

Make use of the HTML5 Canvas element

I just investigated some time to look behind the curtain of the HTML5 canvas element. It’s been a while since I wanted to do so, but – you know – work isn’t always giving you the time to do things like this. Finally, I managed it and I am very fascinated!
After a quick look at some examples I found out about the Processing JavaScript Library (http://processingjs.org), written by Ben Fry and Casey Reas. Real cool stuff can be easily down with this library as shown on their site. I am now trying to get myself to do some cool features. I will report on if anything new will come on my way. Keep reading. :-)
